Slowdown Sunday is a relaxed, creative afternoon with coffee, music and a cozy studio atmosphere. In a calm, unhurried setting, we’ll create unique ceramic pieces such as bowls, cups and small objects. We’ll also make graphic Christmas tree ornaments, using clean shapes and our own ideas to create little pieces to treasure.
An afternoon to experiment, create and unwind. Intuitive, tactile and fully in the moment. Suitable for all skill levels.
To make sure you feel completely at home, there will be pastries, coffee, tea and other drinks available throughout the session.
All the details at a glance
• A relaxed and welcoming atmosphere in a small, intimate group of max. 6 participants.
• Handbuilding techniques: We’ll explore different handbuilding and coiling techniques. If you like, selected pieces can also be decorated with coloured slips (engobes).
• What we’ll make: In addition to Christmas tree ornaments, you’ll create small vessels, cups and bowls.
• First session / making: The first session lasts 3 hours, from 2 pm to 5 pm.
• Second session / glazing: We’ll arrange an individual date together as a group to glaze your pieces. This session will also last approximately 3 hours.
• Small group setting: Maximum 6 participants.
• Everything included: The workshop fee covers all materials and firings, including the bisque firing and final glaze firing (high firing). There are no additional costs beyond the workshop fee.

FAQs
Is there a minimum number of participants?
A workshop takes place with a minimum of 4 participants. If fewer than 4 people sign up, we reserve the right to cancel the workshop up to 7 days before the scheduled start date. In this case, the workshop fee will be fully refunded.
I’d like to cancel my booking. Will my workshop fee be refunded?
Depending on when you cancel, the following cancellation policy applies:
• 14 days or more before the workshop: Full refund.
• 7–13 days before the workshop: 50% refund.
• Less than 7 days before the workshop: No refund.
Where possible, we’ll try to fill your spot with someone from the waiting list.
Can we book a workshop as a private group?
Absolutely! We’d love to welcome you as a private group. Simply send us a message via the contact form. It would be great if you could tell us a little about your group, the number of participants and the occasion.
When can I collect my finished ceramics?
I’ll let you know by email as soon as your pieces are ready. I usually arrange group collection dates for workshop participants. Shipping your work can also be arranged upon request.
